The Provincial Government of Newfoundland and Labrador provides individually licensed or agency approved family child care providers with an annual $500.00 equipment grant to each and has just recently announced a $1,500.00 start-up grant to those providers meeting the same criteria. Family Child Care Providers under a regulated system are now able to access an Education Supplement with specific qualifications.
