Family Childcare Agency Registry

The Family Child Care Agency maintains a child care registry. The registry lists approved child care providers in the St. John’s and surrounding area who have spaces available and a list of parents who are looking for family child care.

The agency collects specific information about the child and family so that the family child care providers can decide whether they can meet the family’s child care needs. The agency facilitates the connection between parents and child care providers by giving parents the provider’s phone number. The agency then follows up with the parents within a couple of weeks.
