Family and Child Care Connections offers a variety of workshops for parents, child care providers and CUPW members.

The Family Child Care Training Level One
This training is supportive of daily quality practices in family child care. There are 12 modules involved in this training on such topics as:

Learning Begins
Learning begins provides parents and child care providers with information and ideas to help children from birth to two years old learn and develop during everyday activities. The workshop teaches about brain development and learning in easy-to-understand language.
Early Learning Canada
Early Learning Canada is a community workshop program for parents and child care providers with children from birth to age six. Its purpose is to enhance positive parenting and child care practices to influence lifelong learning.
Other Workshops
We also offer evening workshops on topics such as nutrition, health and safety, guiding children’s behaviour, activities for young children, and communicating effectively with your child.
